Xenia Pool

Giga Academy

Xenia Pool heads Giga Skills Development, the Giga group’s training and workforce division. She leads a programme built around accredited QCTO occupational certificates, giving learners nationally recognised qualifications in the technical skills that South Africa’s energy, electric mobility and infrastructure sectors need.

Under Xenia’s leadership, every programme pairs structured learning with real workplace experience. Learners finish with practical, on-site exposure alongside their qualification, and host employers gain skilled people who are ready to contribute.

For companies, Giga Skills Development is designed to deliver measurable returns. Registered learnerships can qualify for Section 12H learnership tax allowances, while structured training supports B-BBEE skills development scoring and access to SETA funding. Xenia works directly with employers to align training with their operational needs and to structure programmes that make full use of these incentives.
